If there was any doubt that IT service management was a profitable endeavour, Sydney-born Enable Professional Services put the argument to rest by returning to upper reaches of the CRN Fast50 for 2019.

The ServiceNow partner saw almost 80 percent revenue growth over the past year to land in tenth place, helped by solid contract wins from government and telecommunications clients.

Notable wins included deals with the New South Wales and Victorian state governments, which have invested more in digital transformation initiatives and public services.

In the private sector, telcos continue to be a boon for the company, which has balanced positive growth and building for the future.

“We’ve continued to invest in the business here in Australia as well as our overseas ventures, particularly with our new products and offerings,”

chief executive Bruce Hara told CRN.

“We’ve had really consistent growth, both within our loyal customer base and with many new quite large enterprise and sizable government customer wins as well.”

Enable has also increased its headcount over the past year. The company now employs close to 200 staff in Australia, in addition to those that work from its overseas offices.

The company has 11 offices across Australia, Singapore, India, Hong Kong and Thailand.
Speaking to CRN, Hara highlighted two major recent hires; Suzanne Gerrard as general manager and Paul Thomason as director of innovation.

“Being recognised by CRN as one of the fastest growing IT businesses in Australia for a third consecutive year is significant validation internally that we’re doing the right things and achieving success,”

Hara said.

“It shows we’re a sustainable organisation, that we’re in it for the long term and that we’re continually reinvesting to improve on our services and offerings to give customers better experiences.”

Hara founded Enable in 2014, with the aim of bringing the same functionality that technology has delivered to people’s personal lives into the workplace through solutions for IT, HR and legal systems.

The company has worked closely with ServiceNow since its early days.

Enable has also developed its own software implementation method (EnableUNow), industry-specific applications (through Enable Labs), and an education division providing accredited ServiceNow training (Enable Learn).

“The CRN Fast50 is above all a chance for the channel to mingle and learn from each other’s experiences. On the night we immediately started to hear conversations suggesting new collaborations and combinations. And that’s why the CRN Fast50 really matters, because bringing people together is an essential function of the channel. We’re proud to play a small role in helping those meetings and collaborations to happen.”

Enable Professional Services becomes Elite ServiceNow partner

Sydney-based consultancy Enable Professional Services has become the first local ServiceNow partner to crack Elite status in the SaaS vendor’s partner program.

ServiceNow added an elite tier to its partner program as part of a May 2019 program re-launch. Elite partners typically specialise in five or more ServiceNow products across the IT, employee experience and customer service workflows and has established operations in multiple geographies.

Enable Professional Services (EPS) has five Australian offices, plus presences in India, Thailand, Singapore and Hong Kong.

“I’m thrilled Enable has been recognised as the first homegrown Elite Partner in the APJ region,” said Enable’s Managing Director, Bruce Hara, who added that EPS has over 220 staff dedicated to ServiceNow and plans a further 30 hires by June 2020.

“We have Enable tribes dedicated to HR, CSM, ITBM, ITOM, ITSM, GRC, SecOps and Architecture, so we can deliver the full suite of ServiceNow offerings with experienced, certified consultants who not only understand the platform, but the business challenges, context and priorities driving it,” Bruce added.

Managed services helped EPS score its new status: the company’s Customer Advisory & Support by Enable (CASE) product is now live and offers subscription customers an evolved advisory and managed service offering. It also gives EPS annuity revenue!

“A big congratulations to Enable for achieving Elite status. This status is a testament to Enable’s deep industry expertise, and capabilities to drive organisation-wide digital transformation for our joint customers,” said Mitch Young, SVP, APJ, ServiceNow.

“Our key partners have a shared focus on creating great work experiences and unlocking productivity, to change the way work gets done.”
